Wow, yet another Droid Incredible delay!  This time it is pushed back to sometime in August less than a week ago it was set to be shipping 7/28.

Darn you Samsung for hogging up all the AMOLED screens for your Galaxy lineup…let’s hope HTC reevaluates its screen supplier for their next front runner device.

They have been playing this catch up game from its late April release and haven’t been able to get caught up since.  This is a huge blow to HTC considering the Droid Incredible has well some incredible specs and feature set. Plus it is due to receive the OTA Froyo 2.2 update by years end. I guess Verizon is going to keep distributing those $25 gift cards to customer’s waiting to receive their order.

Reports have been generating about Verizon offering to cancel Droid Incredible orders for Droid X units starting July 15th as an option.  This may be a no brainer for a lot of frustrated customers considering the Droid X is due to receive the Froyo 2.2 update sometime in August.
