Ed B. Generally, it can take a few weeks, or even a few months for Android devices to drop to free. AT&T, on the other hand is offering the decent HTC Aria though Wirefly, for free!
Dell also is offering the Aria for free; they both appear to be using the same backend to fulfill their orders so take your pick.
